  2. Qasr Al Hosn Festival In Abu Dhabi

Just to remind everyone of the great heritage event at Qasr Al Hosn in Abu Dhabi. It is the famous Qasr al Hosn Festival celebrating the Heritage of the UAE, its traditions and it history and local skills and handicrafts. It starts from the 3rd February 2016- until the 13th. I love these events! My hubby wants to go this year! A must go to event. I went last year and bought quite a few traditional items which I wanted. Bit expensive but then most items are handmade. You can find locally made dresses, home products that are weaved, wallets, handbags, telephone covers, loads of beautiful baskets and fruit covers, locally made rocking beds for babies as were used in the past. There is so much to see and certainly worth a visit indeed. It is a great family event, tickets are not expensive and they will have lots of fun. Last year I saw the old traditional police stations and vehicle used in the past, they were marching up and down. I sincerely hope to go this year too. Looking forward to it.
